First off, forgive my typing tonight… put a drill bit through my finger and it hurt!! But enough about my do-it-yourself day. I have a simple question that maybe you can answer. What’s happening to our world and people in general?

I was searching Google’s to 100 videos tonight hoping to find something new and entertaining enough to blog about and all I saw were videos of sex, almost naked girls and totally tasteless videos. Do people have morals anymore? If so, cna someone please tell me where.

I guess I am too “old school” to get into the raunchy video genre and refuse to make it part of my everyday internet experience. I understand that the porn niche is one of the highest paying most lucrative opportunities online, but I have to draw the line somewhere. No matter how much money can be made I refuse to succumb to the temptation.

I realize I am on my holier than thou soapbox, but it really bothers me to see so much tastelessness on some of the most popular sites online. It’s sad when the young adults of our world are spending their time watching these “sexy’ videos instead of doing something much more productive. I am not targeting everyone, and really nobody in particular. It just really disappoints me to see all the filth in the world in which I am trying to raise my family.

To steal a quote from the infamous Forrest Gump, “That’s all I have to say about that!”.

I try not to get off topic too much with my blog posts, but I just have to today.Â� I am all about making money any and every way that I possibly can.Â� Either online or off, if an opportunity comes along that I believe will be profitable, risky or not, I will usually give it a shot.Â� I’m not saying that my life revolves around money, not at all.Â� I just love challenges, and making money online continues to be an excellent adversary.

But back to my story.� Since I thoroughly enjoy making money, I have never been one to waste my time gambling it away.� Many of my friends love going to casinos and especially laying a few bucks down on the horses.� Today, as usual, I was invited to go with a group of friends who love to frequent the local horse track.� And seeing that I always have something better to do than waste my hard earned money, something made me say yes today.

So the four of us spent the afternoon watching the ponies run, listening to drunkards who thought they had everything figured out and having a really good time.Â� I have to admit, I had no clue what to bet or even how to bet.Â� But my analytical mind was telling me that I could somehow, someway make some pretty good “educated” guesses.

After 5 races I was up a whopping $26.Â� And all my friends, the so-called experts were down.Â� With race six just around the corner, I did something totally unlike me… I bet all of my winnings on one race.Â� To make a long story short, I hit the trifecta.Â� Basically I had the the top three finishers in the exact order ( the winning horse went off at 25/1).Â� Lets just say that I will now owe Uncle Sam a little more money at the end of the year.

$1436 was the payout.Â� After buying dinner and drinks, I came home with just over thirteen hundred bucks.Â� Not a bad day if you ask me.Â� It will take a whole lot of ad clicks to match that total, but that’s another challenge in and of itself.

Sorry for getting off topic, just wanted to share my good fortune.Â� And no, I won’t be going to the track next weekend.Â� I will be happy here at home with my family and my blogs.

Being the eternal optimist, I strongly believe that everybody has the potential to succeed and that failing is a personal choice.� To say it another way, it is only possible to fail if you have stopped trying.� Unless you have given up, you are still doing what you have set out to achieve, and therefore still on the journey to success.

Obstacles will invariably be put in your way, it’s how we deal with these obstacles that determines whether we succeed or fail. It is this single lesson which will determine the rest of your life, blogging career and any other pursuit you undertake.� So many people have overcome difficult obstacles, why not you?

Success starts with a decision, “I am going to…” and then continues with action.� Those of you who are reading this post have already made a decision that you want to learn how to succeed.� The Lord has blessed me with a talent for inspiring people and always being positive, so it seems that I am always put into a position to give advice.� Why?� Because I truly care about people and care about their success.� � That was the underlying inspiration for my goal, to educate those who want to succeed and to inspire people to achieve greatness.

You must also remember, the definition of success is not always the same for every individual.� But I can guarantee you that success is addictive, and once you have had your taste of it you want more.� By taking action and striving to achieve something you will find that opportunities come your way and obstacles of any size can be overcome if you just keep on going.

Don’t ever quit and never listen to negative comments.Â� You can do whatever you set your mind to, you only have to believe.Â� Whether it’s building a successful blog, making money online or building a network of friends, success will only come if you take action.Â� So get off your tail and strive to become better!
