Is Bobby Knight Nuts?

I don’t think so. I am from the [tag]old school[/tag] as they say. I was raised in an environment where my father demanded respect from three people: My Lord and Savior, my mother and my coach. No questions…no problems.

Now I am not condoning hitting kids or being over bearing in any way. But that little tap he gave on his player’s chin was far from violent. He was simply wanting that kid to look him in the eye. It was a teaching opportunity and like it or not, [tag]coach Knight[/tag] is a powerful teacher.

I am sure many of you will disagree with my opinions but this is how I feel. I love my kids, would never put them in harms way but my wife an I do demand that they have respect for their elders. Oh well, that’s my two cents…off my soapbox!
