Let Us Revisit The Web 3.0 Project
I have been a part of the new Web 3.0 project for just about a month and have to say that I’m very impressed with what’s happening. We have already reached many of our goals and are working hard to build a powerful Web 3.0 site. Webmaster Vocab is our first project and we are now working on building links and PR for the site.
I know I am being very vague with the Web 3.0 details, I guess I’m just kind of thinking out loud. To clarify exactly what we, as webmasters , are trying to achieve is this:
Our Vision And Principles As Stated From The Website
- All profits are shared based on the contributions from the members
- This promise is key to keep everything fair. If you have done something that really adds value, I promise you will be rewarded for it (in cash).
- As many decisions as possible will be made by vote
- We’re all in this together, so it is only fair that we all have a say in the major decision.
- This is an open community that values long time members as well as newbies
- No in crowds, we need to find a good balance between rewarding long term members and welcoming new members
- Build on each others strengths and help each other develop
- Building a successful site needs a lot of different skills. In this project you can focus on what you are good at without having to worry about what you don’t like or not good at. However no community works if we won’t help each other to become better at what we do so learning from each other will be key to keep the success going.
So basically, many webmasters have gotten together to build a network of powerful sites and completely share in all the profits. The more productive you are for the team, the bigger piece of the pie you will earn. So far, it’s been a blast.
I really can’t say just how far this Web 3.0 project will go, but I think the idea is awesome. We as bloggers are all active in many social networking sites, providing the majority of their content. But how much has digg or shoutwire paid you?
Web 3.0 pays it’s members. And I strongly believe that you will see several of these types of sites popping up all over the net in the next few years. But hey, that’s just my opinion.
We are still welcoming anyone who wants to take part in this new venture. If you are hard working and ready to be a part of the net’s next big thing, come and join us. It’s completely free and you will never be asked for a dime, only your time.
