Is There Anyone Having Success With StumbleUpon

As a frequent visitor to many online forums, I am continually amazed at the webmasters begging for more StumbleUpon traffic. My question to them is simple. Why?

As far as I’m concerned, StumbleUpon traffic is worthless. Talk about your un-targeted traffic. There have been days where my blog has received over one thousand StumbleUpon visitors and all I had to show for it was a big green bar on my stat tracker. Not even one Adsense click was generated from these visitors.

I guess my second question would have to be, am I missing something? Is there anyone who can show me how StumbleUpon has produced their blog any revenue? I have said it before, the best social bookmarking site that provides the highest number of “clickable” traffic comes via Shoutwire.

Shoutwire delivers visitors that actually read your posts. They also click on other pages, leave comments and produce some revenue with their clicks. If Shoutwire is not a part of your marketing plan, you really need to check their site out.

I have absolutely no affiliation with Shoutwire, but I love them all the same. Quit wasting your time with StumbleUpon unless your simply looking to improve your traffic stats. Start using a website that will give your blog what it really needs, active readers.
