My Affiliate News: I’m Done With ClickBank
I’m going to speak from the heart on this one, [tag]ClickBank[/tag] stinks. For the past few years I have been promoting several products through the [tag]affiliate marketplace[/tag] ClickBank and have seen a great decline in the quality of products that they represent.
When I first became a ClickBank affiliate in 2000, I made a commitment to myself to only [tag]promote products[/tag] that I had personal experience with. I have always wondered how anyone could possibly recommend a product that they have never tried themselves. As a result of this commitment, I have purchased well over 30 products from the ClickBank marketplace. Some were for my personal use, others for promtions on my niche websites.
Most of my early purchases were excellent products… Well put together, extremely useful and many cutting edge ideas. Some of the best products I purchased from ClickBank are AffiiateProjectX, Keyword Elite and The Butterfly Marketing Manuscript (no affiliate links because like I said, I’m done with ClickBank). But no longer will I purchase or [tag]sell products[/tag] from this marketplace.
So why my sudden change of heart? Because, in my opinion, the quality of products being represented at ClickBank is on a serious decline. I have recently purchased a few products through ClickBank that I was interested in promoting and was extremely disappointed. The products were of such low quality and offered no valuable information. How anyone could possibly recommend these products to anyone is beyond my understanding.
In my 6 or so years of being involved with ClickBank, I had never asked for a refund. I now have asked for my money back on three consecutive purchases.

So why am I upset with ClickBank? They aren’t the ones creating the poor products.
Â
Maybe not, but they have to do a better job monitoring the products they represent in their marketplace. If they accept a product and allow it to be sold through them (all you basically need is a sales page and a thank you page) they are held accountable as far as I’m concerned.
I know of many affiliate marketers who are making a ton of money selling ClickBank products. I just can’t do it any more. At least not until they do a better job improving on their quality control.
You’ve heard the prhrase “seen one, seen ‘em all”. That’s how I feel about most of the products on ClickBank anymore. Can’t anyone come up with something new! Stop beating a dead horse and start creating products that actually help others.
If anyone disagrees with my feelings towards the ClickBank Marketplace, please leave a comment. I’d like to know if your main goal online is making money or helping others to make money. And if you didn’t know there is a considerable difference between the two.
